During the installation of the PaperVision Enterprise Document Viewer Controls, the following error is displayed: “Error 1324: The path my pictures contains an invalid character”

Summary

This is an indication that the user installing the PaperVision Enterprise Document Viewer Controls does not have permission to install the client.

To resolve this follow the steps below:

  1. From within PaperVision Enterprise, open the Downloads section.
  2. Download the PaperVision Enterprise Document Viewer Controls to a local location.
  3. Sign out of the workstation.
  4. Sign in as Administrator (local)
  5. Run the Setup.exe that was downloaded from PaperVision Enterprise.
