- With PaperFlow closed, open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows
- Rename the file Setscan.ini to Setscan.old
- Log into PaperFlow, open a data group and re-select the scanner
- Attempt to scan, if the scanner functions properly, no further changes are required.
If the scanner continues to error, you will need to reinstall the scanner drivers:
- Ensure you have a drivers disk for your scanner, or download the latest driver from the scanner manufacturer’s website
- With PaperFlow closed, open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows
- Rename the file Setscan.ini to Setscan.old
- Uninstall the current scanner driver from Control Panel
- Reboot the computer and reinstall the scanner driver
- Log into PaperFlow, open a data group and re-select the scanner
- Attempt to scan and the error should now be resolved, if the error persists please contact technical support
