When trying to use a flatbed scanner, the Mark New Document command does make a new document in PaperFlow but it does not scan. The Scan Pages command does nothing at all.
The scan operator may also see the message "No page was found in the feeder" if the scanner has both an Auto Document Feeder and Flatbed.
When scanning with a Flatbed scanner, the Mark New Document command is used only to create a document break. In order to scan images, the Scan One Page command must be used.
The reason the "No page was found in the feeder" message comes up is because PaperFlow is looking for documents in the ADF portion of the scanner and does not find them.
