PaperFlow, QCFlow and OCRFlow licensing utilizes hardware dongle keys. In order to exchange/upgrade dongle keys for PaperVision Capture licenses, or to replace a damaged dongle key, the serial number must be supplied on the upgrade/exchange form.

Summary

Use the following steps to locate and run the PaperFlow license utility to read a dongle key serial number and license information.

  1. Open the following location- C:\Program Files\Digitech Systems\Common Files\ and locate the file DSILIC.exe.
  2. Double-click on the file to run the utility.
  3. The Dongle Key Information screen is displayed.
  4. Click on the Read Key button to obtain the dongle serial number. The license information is also displayed.

Note:

If upgrading a dongle key to allow more functionality (e.g. PaperFlow Lite to PaperFlow Pro), call Technical Support to get the new Update Code to enter in the update section.
