Summary
- There are several things that can cause this error, anywhere from corrupted files to an installation of other software that overwrote something PaperFlow needs to function with this scanner.
- The first step is to exit PaperFlow and search Windows for the following two files: "SETSCAN.INI" and "PIXCACHE.INI" and delete both of them.
- Log back into PaperFlow and reselect the scanner. If that does not work, reinstall PaperFlow. This will require you to uninstall PaperFlow first. Note: this will not affect your data groups in any way and PaperFlow will reconnect to them automatically once it is reinstalled.
- If that fails to resolve the issue, you will need to uninstall PaperFlow and search the system for "SETSCAN.INI" and delete it again. Then, search the system for "PIX*.*" and delete all files found, reboot, and reinstall PaperFlow. If you are using a scanner that requires drivers that are not available with PaperFlow, you will need to reinstall the scanner drivers as well.
