When attempting to view the Data Groups listed under the Administration section in ImageSilo you receive an error message stating: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type mismatch: 'cLng' /ADDataGroups.ASP, line 163

Summary

This error is caused by a corrupt “cookie” that exists on the local machine that is being used to view the Data Groups listing in ImageSilo.

You can resolve this issue by removing the corrupt “cookie” from the local machine by following the steps below.

  1. Close any Internet Explorer browsers you may have open.
  2. Open Windows Explorer and browse out to the following location:
  3. Windows XP, Server 2003 (Operating Systems):
  4. %USERPROFILE%AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsTemporary Internet Files
  5. Windows 7, Vista, and Server 2008 (Operating Systems):
  6. %USERPROFILE%Local SettingsTemporary Internet Files
  7. Locate and delete the following cookie:
  8. cookie:WindowsProfileName@login.imagesilo.com
  9. You should now be able to login to ImageSilo and view your Data Group listings.
