Summary
When first accessing PaperVision via Internet Explorer, you may receive a prompt for intranet settings. If Intranet Settings are disabled, then Internet Explorer may not allow PVE to determine what user is logged into Windows.
To resolve this follow the steps below:
- Add a URL to the Intranet Zone by opening Internet Explorer and clicking Tools and then clicking Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Select Local Intranet and click sites.
- Click on Advanced.
- Enter the PaperVision URL and click Add.
- With the IP address now in the Intranet Zone, the PaperVision Gateway will now pass PVE the user account logged into Windows, and should allow users to log into PVE automatically.
