The user receives this error either when running Automation Manager or when trying to access a data group. Error 4438: Unknown Error when trying to initiate scanning. Runtime Error 5: Invalid Procedure Call or Argument.

Summary

This error indicates the data group needs to be repaired.

To do this, select Data Group Maintenance under the Administration Menu. If the database is not repairable, contact Digitech Support for additional options on repairing databases.
